Just to go back in time... February 20, 2008 was the day that we dropped Elder Davenport off at the MTC in Provo. It was a wonderful/awful experience.
He looked so missionary in his black, pin-striped suit. As he went into the Missionaries Only door and we entered the Family door, we watched his encounter with the senior service sister. Out came the Black Name Tag and then upon it, she placed a red dot sticker.
Then we got him again, for a while, to ourselves.
Mom cried! Dad cried! We knew that our time was short.
But Emily knew all would be okay!
We love our Elder Davenport. What a great missionary he will be.

I had to shop through the Elder's friends to find out what mission he went to. Now I see the title on the comment page and feel silly. I love to see the Elders go.
